How it works

  1. Upload one clear photo of yourself (one person, face visible, good light).
  2. Keep the Desk concert scene selected and create your free preview. Sign-in is free (Google or email), no card needed. Most videos are ready in 1–3 minutes.
  3. Like it? Make it HD: a new 10-second 720p render of the same photo and scene, no watermark, MP4 with sound. It can look a little different from the preview.

What you get

A vertical video with 2–3 shots: you leaning into a vintage microphone and singing, a wide shot of the band grooving around a desk piled with papers, and a close-up of you hitting a high note. The band (keys, upright bass, sax, backing singers) is made up of different AI-generated people. The song is original music generated with the video, so every clip sounds a little different.

The look is inspired by the viral desk-concert trend on TikTok, where people imagine themselves playing a Tiny Desk–style office concert. Not affiliated with NPR.

Desk concert video FAQ

What is an AI desk concert video?

A short vertical video where the person in your photo is the lead singer of a small live band, performing at a cluttered office desk in front of bookshelves, lamps and string lights. It comes with its own music and vocals, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

Is the music a real song?

No. The audio is original music generated by the AI together with the video. We do not use, copy or imitate any existing song or artist, and every video gets its own new tune.

Is this affiliated with NPR?

No. Broom Riding is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to NPR or any music show. We use no footage from any show.

Will the band members have my face?

They should not. Only the lead singer is based on your photo; the band members are AI-generated people with different faces. AI is not perfect, so if a result looks off, you can try again with a clearer photo.

What photo works best?

One person, face clearly visible, good light, ideally from the waist up. JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 10 MB. Only upload photos of yourself or of people who agreed to it.

How much does it cost?

Your first preview is free (1 per account, about 6 seconds, 480p, watermarked, watch on the site). HD videos are 10 seconds, 720p, no watermark, MP4 download with sound, 1 credit each: $2.99 for 1, $6.99 for 5 or $14.99 for 15 HD videos. One-time payment, no subscription; credits never expire.

What if the video fails?

If a video fails to generate, your credit or free preview comes back automatically. Unused pack? Full refund within 7 days of purchase.

What happens to my photo and video?

Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours and finished videos after 14 days. Photos are not used to train AI models.
